Sports and film are two things that I love dearly, and the connection between the two has proved to be wonderfully handled by ESPN Films with their 30 for 30 series. In addition to the 30 for 30 series, ESPN Films has partnered with ESPNW to honor the anniversary of Title IX and all that it has done to advance women’s rights in this country, in particular their involvement in sports. They have called it Nine for IX.
In addition to the 9 films, ESPN has released an introductory short, entitled Coach. After the initial release and success of the Nine for IX films, ESPNW also produced a series of 6 short films.
As always, I hope you enjoy my reviews and feel inspired to follow along!
