Olympic Films

When the Criterion Collection released it’s collection, 100 Years of Olympic Films, I was instantly excited to be able to check these films out. Anyone who has followed along with my blog, or knows me personally, knows that sports and movies are two of my favorite things. I have not discussed the Olympics that I remember, but they have always been my favorite sporting event every time they come along. There is something so special about these amateur athletes competing for national and personal pride, often in the face of political disagreement and tension. The Olympics bring us together the same way a great movie does.

I can wait to explore these films!
